General Objectives :
1) Discuss why so many reformers focused on the women’s question, and how they visualised a change in women’s
conditions.
2) Outline the history of new laws that affect women’s lives.
3) Illustrate how autobiographies, biographies and other literature can be used to reconstruct the histories of women.

Ans) One of the main problems were people feared that school would take girls away from home and prevent
them from doing domestic work.
