 What are the high level function?
To serve as regional office building to the south west region with
primary functions of :
• Residential and Enterprise Shops,
• Billing Profile and Offices,
• Financial departments,
• IDC and DC departments,
• FAN Offices,
• Operation and Maintenance Rooms,
• Training and Meeting Rooms,
• Meeting Hall,
• Achieves,
In addition, the building has:
• Two basement car parking floors
• Green terraces at 1st and 3rd floors,
• Mechanical, sanitary and electrical facility area on roof
terrace.
• Utility Rooms in every floor
• Cafeteria service at 2nd floor

 The proposed recommendation is to make the bid


national competitive bid (NCB) with the following
mandatory requirements.
1.General experience:
• A contractor with relevant Professional Practice of BC YES/NO
category 1 / GC Category 1.
• A minimum of 5 years for Local Contractors and 10 Years for
Foreign or Joint Venture Contractors General Experience in
the field of Building Construction in different projects with a
total budget of over ETB 300 million .

2.Specific experience:

•The Bidder has successfully Participated as prime local


contractor, management contractor, partner in a joint venture, or
subcontractor; in at least ONE similar building construction works
of similar nature and complexity (11 storey Building) within the
last 10 years, each with a value of at least ETB 250 million. The
project must be at least 70% completed or Participated as prime
local contractor, management contractor, partner in a joint YES/NO
venture, or subcontractor; in at least Two similar building
construction works of similar nature and complexity (11 storey
Building ) within the last 10 years, each with a value of at least ETB
125 million. The project must be at least 70% completed.

3.Average Annual Turn over:

•The average annual turnover calculated as total certified payments


received for contracts in progress or completed must exceed ETB
100,000,000 (pick of the past 5 years) for Local Contractors, ETB
200,000,000 for Foreign Contractors
