Tool box briefing
1. Only authorized person can allow to enter the site
2. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment according to the suitability of the work
3. If concrete came in contact with skin, please go to the wash area to clean it
4. If there’s an emergency, please go to the assembly point and follow the instructions
Introduction
 Concrete is a construction material composed of cement, fine aggregates
(sand) and coarse aggregates mixed with water which hardens with time
 Activities done using a concrete at construction site:
1. Preparation of the concrete mix
2. Delivery of the mix to the construction site
3. Compaction of the mix in the formwork
4. The curing of the concrete
5. Quality control of the concrete work
Objective

 1) Identify hazards that may pose a hazard to the safety


and health of workers during concrete work carried out at
the site.

 2) Identify safety management methods that are practiced


while conducting concrete work on the site
