• Write a 250-word summary of the lecture you


missed. Add the title of the lecture and word
count at the top of the submission. Due date:
December 1.
Use the mbongi questions to guide your response,
but offer specific commentary for each question.

Make-up Quizzes
• Over the course of the semester, there have been five (5)
quizzes posted in Blackboard.
• Make-up for quizzes require written responses instead of a
quiz. Include the assignment title and the word count at the top
of the page.
• Syllabus/Bb Quiz: In 300 words, respond to this prompt.
• Submit a self-reflection essay about your engagement of this class over the semester. How
often did you participate? What could you have done better? What aspects helped you to learn?
What did you find challenging? How did you use the syllabus of Bb as your guide? If you
didn’t, why didn’t you? What did you learn about yourself as a student from the way you
participated (or didn’t’ participate) in this class?

• HU, You Know! Quiz: In 300 words, respond to this prompt.


• Review the video. In 300 words, discuss the lecture in 3 paragraphs. In the first paragraph,
summarize the lecture. In the second paragraph, consider at least one historical figure Dr.
Jones mentioned and tell us more (from your own research) about that figure. In the third
paragraph, contextualize the lecture amid your scholarly goals as a student at Howard.

• Quality of Education Quiz 1: 300 words, write a summary to part 1 of the


book. Be sure to write at least one paragraph on each essay. Add at least one
question you thought of after reading each essay.
• Quality of Education Quiz 2: 300 words, write a summary of part 2 of the
book. Be sure to write at least one paragraph on each essay. Add at least one
question you thought of after reading each essay.
• Quality of Education Quiz 3: 300 words, write a summary of part 3 of the
book. Be sure to write at least one paragraph on each essay. Add at least one
question you thought of after reading each essay.
The Group Project
• Any student who is still without a group
must connect with a group by Wednesday
at 1pm.

• The project is still due by November 21.
