Friction

INTRODUCTION
As a body moves or tries to move over another body, the roughness of surfaces tries to
interlock each other and give resistance to the force causing motion.

Thus, friction is defined as the tangential force developed between the surface of two
bodies when one surface moves or tries to move with respect to the other.
