TIDEL PARK, AVADI
LOCATION: MTH ROAD, S BAZAAR, AVADI,CHENNAI
The site is located on the Chennai-Tiruvallur highway and is well
connected by road and rail network.
The facility is expected to include a 4million sqft building for software
companies, state-of-the-art auditorium, food court, banks and ATM
facilities.
10 acres of Southern Structural solutions has been allocated for the park
in first phase.
Southern Structural has 48 acres at Pattabiram.
The government would unlock more land for the expansion of the park in
future, said the source.
This will be the second Tidel Park in Chennai.
The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), will be
managing the Avadi park .
In the remaining land, nearly 20 acres is to be used by the Tamil Nadu
Housing Board to construct apartments, while an incubator (for new
industries) will also be set up on the land.

The New TIDEL Park in Pattabiram - Tidel Park III is all set to come up
in more than 45 acres of land in Pattabiram, west of Chennai.
TIDEL Park Pattabiram Phase 1 is a 21-storey iconic flagship facility
with salient amenities like state of the Art SKY Garden, Co-working
spaces, and Business Centres.
This project includes a five-star hotel, convention centre and residential
flats apart from the IT park on the Chennai-Tiruvallur road and within
easy access of suburban railway line and arterial roads.
It is located 30 km from the International Airport and half a km from the
outer ring road, this well-connected IT facility is within an hour’s reach
from any part of the city.

The edifice of the project is layered with 3 development phases.

The city‘s second TIDEL Park will be a more than 25-storey eco-friendly
building.
TIDEL Park Limited, an agency of government of Tamil Nadu, will
execute the project at a cost of Rs 230 crore.
The structure will have green building concepts to reduce consumption of
power and water. The state government has transferred 10 acres out of the
nearly 40-acre land parcel at Pattabiram to TIDEL Park Limited.
The plug-and-play facility will be occupied by I-T and ITES firms,
according to official sources.
While the first phase would be established on 10 acres, the rest would be

Sandwiched between the Chennai Bypass Road and Outer Ring Road, the
facility would provide employment for about 5000 professionals.

companies are in south Chennai and its vicinity on OMR, Pallavaram-
Thoraipakkam Radial Road and GST Road.
Pattabiram is well connected by road and rail. So, ferrying employees to
the park from different parts of the city will consume less time, compared
to OMR.

The IT park will have lush green environment not on the ground floor or
on the terrace, but in the middle of the multi-storey building, which
would be one of the tallest structures on Chennai-Tirupati high road.
The city’s second Tidel Park will introduce the architectural feature in a
bid to make it an iconic structure.
The ‘hanging garden’ will be established on the facade of the 21-storey
building. Official sources with Tidel Park Limited, an agency under the
state government, said the concept was popular in office buildings
abroad.
The hanging garden will be set up between the 15th and 19th floors of
the multi-storey building. These floors will form the premium space of
the structure and will also have office space.
