FUME: Occurs when a metal is melted (by welding), vaporized and then quickly
cooled. This generates very fine particles that drift and stay in the air.
WELDING CUTTING
EXTENSION ARM
Exhaust Hose Reel & Rail System can be used for all types of cars, trucks, fire stations
& trains

WHAT IS ATEX
At the same time, ATEX is the abbreviated name of the European Directive
2014/34/EC concerning the placing on the market of explosion-proof electrical and
mechanical equipment, components and protective systems.
FIRE EXPLOSION CONTROL - ATEX
To minimize or to avoid a fire explosion when handling with combustible dust or gas
in an explosive atmosphere
Certification ensures that the equipment or protective system is fit for its
intended purpose and that adequate information is supplied with it to ensure
that it can be used safely
ATEX DEFINITIONS
Zone 20: Dust cloud is present continuously or for long periods or frequently
Zone 21: Dust cloud is likely in normal operation occasionally (incl dust cloud
generated by dust layer or powder filling/emptying)
Zone 22: Dust cloud not likely. If, for short period only.
Due to rapid pressure wave inside chamber and suction duct, flap
closed and locked. This prevents flame front travelling to the plant
1. Fan
2. Filter (connected vessel)
3. Dust feeder
4. Explosion isolation flap valve
5. Venting panel
EXPLOSION PANEL & DEFLECTOR
Deflector will divert the flame front upward to reduce / avoid chances
of a secondary fire, personal and material.
OIL MIST EXTRACTION SYSTEM
• Machining : Turning, drilling, milling, grinding, sawing, deep drilling and severe
grinding operations,

GENERAL TERMINOLOGIES
Pulse Duration – The length of time a pulse lasts. Generally described as the
length of time the electrical signal the pilot valve open (20-40 milliseconds),
however would more correctly be the description of the length of time the
manifold is pressurized (120-180) milliseconds.
Pulse Interval – The time between pulsing one row of bags and pulsing the
next row.
Carrying Velocity – The gas velocity that is necessary to keep the dust
airborne. Usually 3500 to 4599 ft/min in ductwork depending upon the
nature of the dust.
