• Runway utilization time per take off & per landing depends on type of
Aircraft as small aircraft utilize less length of runway and larger aircraft
use more length of runway
• As per Runway Length utilization by Various type of Aircrafts exits at
suitable distance can be planned to utilize the maximum potential of
Runway

• If we have more than one runway There are Restriction on use of Runway parallel
based on the distance between the runway an have following categories
• No parallel operation
• Can operate Parallelly but one for landing & one for takeoff
• Can operate parallel for landing as well as take-off

In Same manner the Capacity of other Components need to be planned matching with the
designed peak Hour Traffic
In our Project our Group will like to calculate the Requirement for Efficient Operation for a
Airport with a Annual Traffic of 70 Million Passenger (Approximate Traffic at Delhi Airport)
