I. Introduction
A website has been a very helpful platform for small and large businesses so that customers will be able to get to know the business

and their offers through a single click online. A website gives you brief but informative details about the shop or restaurant you have

an interest in. In connection with that, a website must be well presented. The designs, choice of color theme, and the information

found should be carefully assessed and presented.

In this website plan, the student will be able to show the process of redesigning an existing website of a client, which is the Scotty’s

Corner Diner. The purpose of this website plan is to practice what the student learned from this course and apply it to a real situation.

This will help showcase the creative mind and skills of the student when it comes to website planning and making.

2.1 Company’s Profile

Company’s name: SCOTTY’S CORNER DINER

Mission: To provide customers a convenient place and quality food services in the most convenient location

Vision: Scotty’s Corner Diner envisions being the finest food provider and being globally recognized for the next 10 years.

Values: In providing great services to our customers, we live by these values; creating a workplace where employees can be

the best versions of their selves, work with integrity, break cultural barriers, and above all be humane.

Additional Information: The diner is located at 2006 Robertson Rd, Nepean, ON K2H 1A5. They are open Mondays and Sunday

at 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Tuesdays up to Saturdays 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

2.2. Website Overview
Website Type: The plan for this project is to redesign the existing website of the client. There will be changes in some of the elements present in the

website.

Tone and voice: We will be incorporating a conversational tone and voice into the website. We envisioned that the customers will be comfortable

scrolling through the website when the aura is like talking to them. A friendly and welcoming tone, indeed.

Primary Goal: Scotty’s Corner Diner envisions being the finest food provider and being globally recognized for the next 10 years.

Secondary Goals: In providing great services to our customers, we live by these values; creating a workplace where employees can be the best

versions of their selves, work with integrity, break cultural barriers, and above all be humane.

2.3. Target Audience
Gender: We targeted all genders.

Age: 18-35 years old.

Location: Ottawa, Canada

Values: The values should be aligned of the core values of the restaurant.

Problem: The website will be able to give information on the important dates (valentine’s day, new year’s eve, etc.) when the restaurant offers promos

and special services. It will give prices on other special services like birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Website Preference: A part of the website wherein customers can easily browse the prices for special events and the important dates they can search

up for the promos.

Additional Information: We will also be adding features in which future applicants can browse the qualifications and requirements in applying as a new

employee in the restaurant.

2.4. Website Requirements
Design: The design will be as is but we will have additional colors that will suit the color theme which is light blue. There will

be another page button for the list of prices.

Content/ Features NEEDED: The prices for special events (birthdays and anniversaries services, etc.) should be present.

Important dates on when the restaurant has its promos.

Content/ Features WANTED: The website should have feature that reviews from the previous customers about the food, place,

and customer service will be featured. Some of the pictures from the customers will be shown also to attract new customers.

Additional Information: We will feature the best-selling dishes and its price. Also, there will be an applicants page so that new

applicants can get information on how to apply in the restaurant in case more employees are needed.

Goals The restaurant aims to give the customers delicious dishes in a convenient

place where sports are their way of entertainment suitable for all ages.

Target Audience All ages

Overall design They use different but suitable fonts and their design will really give you a vibe

of being sporty while watching sports in a big screen.

Types of content They put all the necessary information about the restaurant including all the

menus. There are various photos and live videos.

Copywriting The content are well evaluated.

Call to action The needed information are easy to find. They also have COVID updates in

which you can see whether you are allowed to dine or not.

Visuals The visuals of the website are very compelling. Although the home page is

compact but still it’s easy to use.

Special Features The special feature they added which I think this makes the website stands is

their COVID update and you can download their menus in a PDF form
