MECHANICS

1. Each team will have their own names to create their flag.
2. The contest revolves around the ReinforCE: Strengthening One's Efficacy in Upholding Own
Expertise.
3. Only one (1) entry per group is allowed in this competition. Entries must be sent in 1920 width x 1080
height pixels or 16 x 9 inches size in PNG format to the organizers via Gmail.
4. Participants may use any editing software (Photoshop, Paint, Mobile Applications, PC Software, etc.)
5. Each team will give one word that describes their flag and explain how you come up with that
description. They will be given thirty (30) seconds to present their flag during the event. The timer will
start once the representative of the group is audible.
6. The flags will be posted for the liking period after the live presentation. Only HEART reactions will be
entertained and counted as 1. The liking period will end on the 3rd day of CE Fest 2022 at 11:59 AM.
7. Winners will be announced on the 3rd day of CE Fest 2022.

2. There will be one (1) minute for the group to find the specific items for the category that the
organizers will provide.
3. There will be three (3) rounds in this activity and each round, there will be four (4) teams to
compete. Whoever has the most items to bring each round will move to the finals.
4. For the final round, the participants will compete for their ranking.
5. If the number of item they bring are tied, a tie breaker will be conducted.

MECHANICS

1. All teams should prepare a lip sync video of their chosen song. The song can be in any
language.
2. Provide only a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 2 minutes of lip sync video.
3. The teams will send their videos to the Gmail of the organizers or upload it via Google
Drive and share the link or e-mail to the organizers.
4. The videos will be presented via live coverage on the official ACES Facebook Page.
5. After the live presentation, the videos will be posted on the ACES Facebook Account
for the liking period. Only HEART reactions will be entertained and counted as 1. The
liking period will end on the 3rd day of CE Fest 2022 at 11:59 AM.
6. The winners will be announced in the 3rd day of CE Fest.

MECHANICS

1. The coverage of the quiz bee includes Basic Mathematics, Calculus, Physics, Engineering Mechanics,
Economics, Theory of Structures, and Principles of Concrete and Steel Design.
2. Each team will be composed of four (4) members and one (1) from every year level (1st Year to 4th Year).
3. All the participants must join the zoom meeting. Always keep your camera turned on and your microphone
turned off unless specifically requested.
4. Only one (1) representative can join the Quizziz link among the four participants and change your username to
your group name.
5. The participants are allowed to help one another to the provided group chat of the assigned officer/s.
6. The ACES Quiz bee will be composed of three (3) levels: Easy, Average and Difficult. All teams will compete
at each level.
7. The first one to have the correct answer will get the highest points while the last will get the lowest points.
However, if you got the wrong answer and fail to answer within the time limit, you will get 0 point.
8. The team with the highest overall score across all levels (easy, average, and difficult) will win.
9. If the scores are tied, a tie breaker will be conducted.

Easy Round
1. Easy Round will be composed of fifteen (15) questions.
2. This will be composed of multiple choice questions.
3. The time limit for this round is 10 seconds.
4. The scoring scales from 1-12 where 12 is the highest score and 1 is the lowest.
Average Round
5. Average Round will be composed of ten (10) questions.
6. This will be composed of identification and problem solving.
7. The final answer in problem solving must be in whole number.
8. The time limit for this round is 20-30 seconds.
9. The scoring scales from 3-36 where 36 is the highest score and 3 is the lowest.
Difficult Round
10. Difficult Round will be composed of five (5) questions.
11. This will be composed of problem solving.
12. The final answer in problem solving must be rounded off to four (4) decimal places. Use intermediate values before the
final answer.
13. The time limit for this round is 60-120 seconds.
14. The scoring scales from 5-60 where 60 is the highest score and 5 is the lowest.

1. Each team will choose two (2) candidates for the search for Mr. and Ms. ACES 2022.
2. The candidates should be from 1st Year to 3rd Year only.
3. The candidates need to prepare 3 wardrobes for the pageant:
• Runway Challenge (Any white casual attire)
• Costume (Each candidate must show their creativity and resourcefulness in recreating their team heroes. Examples:
Spiderman of Eiffel Tower, Scarlet Witch of Parthenon, etc.)
• Formal Wear (Examples: Suit/Coat, Cocktail Dress/Long Gown)
4. For the runway challenge, each candidate must show their ramp modeling skills. The maximum duration of the video
must be 1 minute only.
5. Final recorded videos of the runway challenge, formal wear, and costume of the candidates should be sent through email
or upload the video ahead of time in their Google Drive and share the link to the officers in charge of the event.
6. All performances and the live Q and A shall be presented through ACES Facebook Live.
7. For the Popularity Award, a liking competition will be held days before the actual pageant. The candidates must wear
their costumes for the photoshoot. ALL REACTIONS shall be counted and will only be counted as 1. The liking period
will end on the 3rd day of CE Fest 2022 at 11:59 AM.
8. Winners will be announced on the 3rd day afternoon of CE Fest 2022.

GUIDELINES

1. Each round will be played at custom draft 5v5 battle mode. The elimination round will
have single elimination process.
2. Participating members should use their own account. Multiple teams registered with
the same account will be counted as disqualification for those teams.
3. Players are held accountable for reliability of their data connection. ACES organizers
are not responsible for any issue concerning data loss.
4. The finals will have a best of 3 elimination process.
5. Winners will be contacted by the officers for the settlement of prizes.

1. Strictly for currently enrolled Civil Engineering Students only.

2. There will be a ₱150.00 registration fee per team.
3. Each team must provide their unique team name and must consist of 6 members (1
Team Captain, 4 members, and 1 substitute).
4. All the participants are required to be at the lobby 10 minutes before the start of the
match. Failure to assemble will result into disqualification.

MECHANICS
1. The Trivia Quiz will be a Daily Quiz wherein the organizers will post questions on the official
group of the ACES and those who wants to participate must answer them correctly to win prizes.
2. The activity will begin from April 11, 2022 until April 15, 2022. Questions will be posted at
scheduled times that needs to be followed. Always be ready once a question is released.
3. Only CE STUDENTS are welcome to participate in this activity. NON-CE STUDENTS,
OFFICERS, and ALUMNI will be disregarded.
4. There will be only ONE QUESTION per day.
5. All of the questions will be about Science, Mathematics, History, and Engineering.
6. The first to comment the correct answer will be the winner. Participants will only be given a
limited time ranging from 1 to 3 hours depending if there are still no answers provided.

7. One attempt per person (not account) only. Multiple accounts will be disregarded. The officers
will monitor the activity from time to time. The officers will always find out if it is you in a
different account.
8. Editing and/or inserting new answers will be disregarded. The officers will check the comments
history from time to time to review the answers.
9. Winners will win the prizes provided by ACES. The prize to every question answered will be a
₱50.00 load/GCash. Wait for further instructions on how will it be claimed.
10. Winners will be congratulated and posted in the official group for recognition along the correct
answer.
11. If you already won a round, you will be disregarded in the following further rounds. However,
you will be provided a Certificate of Recognition.
