 PHOTO CONTEST MECHANICS
Topic: Photos must capture the essential representation and role being played by Filipino
women in leadership, power and decision making.
Who Can Join? The photo contest is open to all students. 
Submission of Entries:
 Each participant must submit a maximum of two entries only.
 Participants must submit photos to rocciedawn000@gmail.com
 will only accept entries submitted via email. Those that will be submitted through other
means will be automatically disqualified.
 Entries to be submitted should include the following details:
 Name, Grade and Section.
 Category
 Camera used 
 Title for each work
File name of photos should be patterned in this format: SECTION_SURNAME_ENTRY
NUMBER 1

Deadline of submission of entries is on March 18, 2021 (Thursday).

Photo Image/Requirements:
 Photos must be all original and only colored photos will be considered. Black and white
or sepia photos will be automatically disqualified.
 Should express the theme well.
 Photos must be in digital JPEG or PNG format, in high-resolution, 25MB maximum file
size. (be at least 72 dpi or higher)
 A title for each work should be provided.
 Creativity is a must. (Using of photo enhancement such as Photoshop and Filters are not
allowed)
 Any kind of watermark is not allowed
CATEGORIES
1. Mobile Category (photo taken using mobile phones or tablets)
2. Conventional Category (photo taken using DSLR, mirrorless and compact cameras)

CRITERIA
The criteria for judging will be as follows:
 Adherence to theme/content – 30%
 Creativity and originality – 25%
 Visual impact – 25%
 Photographic quality – 20%

QUIZ BOWL MECHANICS

1. Each Grade Level must have 3 participants each which will register on March 17.

2. The Quiz Bowl will be held on March 19 ,2021 at 1pm via Quizizz.
3. Participants must have a Quizizz account with their FULL NAME. The Quiz Moderator
will start the game once all the participants are in. Participants will answer at their own
pace, but scores are grouped by team.
4. The code will be sent through Facebook Messenger in your Facebook Account.

ESSAY WRITING MECHANICS

Topic: Women's Movements and Feminist Activism
MECHANICS
1. Every grade level should have 1 representative from each grade section.
2. All entries must be written in English and must have at least 1000 words and must not
exceed 3000 words.
3. All essays must be originally written by the contestant and unpublished.
 4. File name should be patterned in this format: SECTION_SURNAME

5. All entries must follow the specification below:
 Paper size: Letter Bond Paper (8.5x11)
 Font Style: Time New Roman
 Font Size: 12
 Alignment: Justified
 Spacing: 1.5
 Margin: 1-inch margin on each side
6. The topic will be given on February 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm via private message on
Facebook.
7. All contestants will be given 1 and half hour to finish their work and must submit it to
rocciedawn000@gmail.com
8. The winner’s output will be posted on the Social Science Club’s official FB page.

MISS UNIVERSE MECHANICS

1. Each Section must have 1 female representative.

2. Assigning of country will be randomly picked.
3. The representatives must take photos of them wearing the national costume of the
country they are given.
