UNITED NATIONS DAY CELEBRATION 2021

MISTER AND MISS UNITED NATIONS 2021
THEME:
“INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF CREATIVE ECONOMY FOR
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”

United Nations Day is celebrated to commemorate the day that 51 countries came together to
promote peace throughout the world post World War II.

We yearly celebrate this to recognize and commemorate these countries.

I. REGISTRATION
Fill out the registration form. Register until October 09, 2021 (failure to register in the said date, entries
will not be accepted)

II. GENERAL ORIENTATION

The general orientation will be on October 09, 2021, at 9:00am via zoom.

III. CHALLENGES
There would be so-called virtual challenges for the Mister and Miss United Nations 2021 candidates
during the competition. These challenges they will go through, can be accomplished at their homes.

CHALLENGE 1: Tourism Video

• The candidates must promote the country they represented in maximum of three (3) minutes
video.
• All videos and pictures used must be credited to its rightful owners (ctto).
• Entry must be submitted on or before October 16, 2021, to paulettenicanor110798@gmail.com.
Subject: CHALLENGE 1 - FULL NAME OF CANDIDATE – GRADE AND SECTION
Ex: CHALLENGE 1 - JUAN D. DELA CRUZ – GRADE 7 - SCOS

Criteria:
Content of the video ------------------------------------- 50%
Creativity -------------------------------------------------- 50%

CHALLENGE 2: Casual Wear Photoshoot

• The casual wear photoshoot should be in a white background.
• Contestant should wear white shirt top and denim bottom.
• The casual wear will be based on voting system.
 Sizes:
Casual Wear
▪ Whole body & Half Body – 4” x 6”

• Entry must be submitted on or before October 22, 2021, to janinadionisio095@gmail.com.

Subject: CHALLENGE 2 - FULL NAME OF CANDIDATE – GRADE AND SECTION
Ex: CHALLENGE 2 - JUAN D. DELA CRUZ – GRADE 7 – SCOS

• The casual wear photos will be posted on the Official Facebook Page of GNC Montessori for the
voting (like, heart and care reactions) to know the People’s Choice Awardees. The voting will
start on October 23, and it will end on October 28, 5:00PM.

CHALLENGE 3: Question and Answer Portion

• All candidates will be given different words and they must expound the word that is given to
them.
• Candidates will be met separately.
• Teachers in charge will be the one to ask the students on the spot.
• The schedule will be on October 23, 2021, at 9:00AM

Criteria:
Ability to communicate ---------------------------------------- 50%
Answer content -------------------------------------------------- 50%

IV. CORONATION
The coronation day is on October 29, 2021, at 8:00am.

• 2nd runner up
• 3rd runner up
• 4th runner up

Special Awards:
• Best in Casual Wear
• Faces of United Nations (Photogenic)
• Best in Tourism Videos
• People’s Choice Awards

For the Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2021 - they will receive a crown, a sash, and a certificate.
For the Mr. and Miss United Nations Runners Up – they will receive a crown, a sash, and a certificate.
For the special awardees – they will receive a sash, and a certificate.
