III. Troubleshooting Process: Video watching: Length calibration

1. Length calibration:
Press F1 on the main interface of the display, enter the password 31318, enter the function interface (Figure 1), and press F8 to confirm entry (Figure 2)
Method for length calibration 2: Press F3 to move the cursor to “Length calibration 2”, press F8 to confirm, and enter the interface “Length calibration 2” (Figure 3)
(1) When the cursor is at the position of “Cylinder 1 fully retracted”, inspect whether the 2-section boom is fully retracted; if not, retract the boom fully
(2) Press F2 to move the cursor to the position of “Cylinder 1 fully extended”, then extend the 2-section boom fully, and then press F8 to confirm; the calibration of
length sensor 2 is completed
Length calibration method: As shown in Figure 2, press F2 to move the cursor to “Length Calibration”, press F8 to confirm, and enter the interface “Length
Calibration” (Figure 4)
(1) When the cursor is at the position of “basic boom length”, inspect whether the boom is fully retracted; if not, retract the boom fully
(2) Press F2 to move the cursor to the position of “fully extended boom length”, then extend the boom fully, and then press F8 to confirm; the length calibration is
completed.
(Note: The outriggers must be fully extended, and the boom angle must be above 60 degrees when calibrating the length)

Video watching: Angle calibration

III. Troubleshooting Process:
2. Angle calibration:
Press F1 on the main interface of the display, enter the password 31318 to enter interface (Figure 1), then press F3 to move the cursor down to angle calibration,
and enter after pressing F8 to confirm (Figure 2)
Angle calibration method:
(1) Since the minimum and maximum angle values of the boom of each crane are different, an angle measuring tool must be used to measure the actual angle of
the boom during calibration.
(2) Put the boom on the boom bracket so that it is between 0 and 5°, and then place the angle measuring tool horizontally above the end of the boom to measure
the actual angle ; if the actual angle is 2.3°, enter 2.3° in the column “Lower limit value of angle” (Figure 2)
(3) Press F2 to move the cursor up to the column “Upper limit value of angle”, luff up, raise the boom until the pressure overflows, and then place the angle
measuring tool horizontally to measure the actual angle above the boom tail; if the actual angle is 80.2°, enter 80.2° in the column “Upper limit value of angle”. After
finishing, press F8 to confirm; the angle calibration is completed
(Note: The outriggers must be fully extended when calibrating the angle)

III. Troubleshooting Process: Video watching: No-load calibration

3. No-load calibration:
For the no-load calibration, the boom should be luffed to the specified angle, during which the boom must be extended at idle speed throughout the entire
process, and the throttle pedal shall not be depressed. The boom length and angle can be checked during no-load calibration
No-load calibration method:
(1) 50° no-load calibration of the main boom: Select the working condition of the main boom main hook on the main interface, change the boom to 50°, press F1
and enter the password 31318 to enter the system function interface (Figure 2), select “No-load calibration” with the cursor, press F8 to confirm and enter the “No-
load calibration” interface (Figure 3)
The calibration process is: Extend the boom to the specified length, move the cursor to the corresponding position, press F8 and wait for the value to stabilize,
and move the cursor to the next boom length until all the specified boom lengths are calibrated
(2) 70° no-load calibration of the main boom: Select the working condition of the main boom main hook on the main interface, luff to 70°, enter the no-load
calibration interface (Figure 4), and repeat the calibration process of step (1)

III. Troubleshooting Process:

(3) No-load calibration of 60° fly jib of main boom: Firstinstall the fly jib at 0°, press F3 on the main interface to select the 0° working condition
of fly jib 1; after luffing the main boom to 60°, enter the “No-load calibration” interface (Figure 3) and repeat the calibration process of step (1)
(4) No-load calibration of 70° fly jib of main boom: First install the fly jib at 0°, press F3 on the main interface to select the 0° working
condition of fly jib 1; after luffing the main boom to 70°, enter the “No-load calibration” interface (Figure 4) and repeat the calibration process
of step (1)

III. Troubleshooting Process:

In case of a crane with five-section boom (four-section boom does not need to be calibrated), when the main boom main hook and fly jib
1 are at 0°, it is necessary to apply the no-load calibration when the boom section 3, 4 & 5 are separately extended (maintenance
conditions)
Working condition of main boom main hook:
(5) No-load calibration of 50° rapid extension of the main boom: Select the working condition of the main boom main hook on the main
interface, press the maintenance switch when the boom is fully retracted, and after extending the boom sections 3, 4 & 5, luff the boom
to 50°, and then perform no-load calibration according to the calibration process in step (1) (Figure 2)
(6) No-load calibration of 70° rapid extension of the main boom: Select the working condition of the main boom main hook on the main
interface, press the maintenance switch when the boom is fully retracted, and after extending the boom sections 3, 4 & 5, luff the boom
to 70°, and then perform no-load calibration according to the calibration process in step (1) (Figure 3)

III. Troubleshooting Process:

Working condition of fly jib 1 at 0°:
(7) No-load calibration of fly jib for 60° rapid extension of the main boom: Install the fly jib at 0°, select the working
condition of fly jib at 0° on the main interface, and press the maintenance switch when the boom is fully retracted, extend
the boom sections 3, 4 & 5, luff the boom to 60°, and perform no-load calibration according to the calibration process of
step (1) to (Figure 2)
(8) No-load calibration of fly jib for 70° rapid extension of the main boom: Install the fly jib at 0°, select the working
condition of fly jib at 0° on the main interface, and press the maintenance switch when the boom is fully retracted, extend
the boom sections 3, 4 & 5, luff the boom to 70°, and perform no-load calibration according to the calibration process of
step (1) to (Figure 3)

III. Troubleshooting Process: Video watching: Adjustment of lifting weight

4. Adjustment of lifting weight:
After the no-load calibration is completed, if the actual weight does not match the rated weight, the lifting weight should be adjusted
Select the working condition of the main boom main hook on the main interface, press F1 and enter the password 31318 to enter the
system function interface (Figure 1); move the cursor to select “Adjustment of lifting weight”, press F8 to confirm and enter the interface
“Adjustment of lifting weight” (Figure 2)
In the interface “Adjustment of lifting weight”, the corresponding weights are lifted in sequence and then calibrated according to the
weight shown on the left, and the value on the right represents the adjustment coefficient of lifting weight, which can be adjusted from
95 to 110 by pressing the buttons F5 and F6. If the displayed weight is more than the actual weight, you can use F6 to decrease the
coefficient for modification. If the displayed weight is less than the actual weight, you can use F5 to increase the coefficient for
modification.
(Note: The outriggers must be fully extended during the weight testing, and the operations shall be carried out strictly in accordance
with the performance table)

IV. Notes:

1. When the display parameters are calibrated, first make sure that the outriggers are fully
extended and then operate strictly in accordance with the performance table

2. When calibrating the angle, it is necessary to measure the angle on the boom, and take
care

3. When adjusting the lifting weight, it is necessary to lift heavy objects such as weights,
which need to be prepared in advance and to implement in strict accordance with the
operating rules and regulations
