1. 1 Introduction
Problem Statement: (Idea)
➢ ATM card contains magnetic strip/chip which
contain authentication details. It is easy to clone the
card.

➢ Problems faced by card users : Time consumption,

Swiping the card , Card Skimming, Lebanese Loop.

➢ Shoulder surfing to see the details entered on ATM

     Screen.

1.2 Introduction

Overview of Problem Statement:

The ATM card, being a physical entity can easily be
stolen and if the  attacker can acquire the user’s ATM
pin, then the user’s bank account and money is
compromised.

Scanning the QR code and processing the details in

the servers would be very dynamic, thus transaction
time is reduced.

1.3 Introduction
Motivation :
 If the user is near ATM and  forgets card
(Credit/Debit) at home , than it is difficult for
him/her to do transactions in traditional ATM system.
So to overcome this problem we got motivation to
work QR based ATM System

The QR code feature makes cash withdrawals quicker

and more secure and negates the chances of
compromising the ATM Pin or card skimming.

QR code technology provides additional security by

encryption technique, which is difficult to decode.
