what this course is about and how It will help you
manage the teaching-learning process in the modalities
Lesson 1
Course Overview
This overview will cover the
why, what and how of this
course. It will walk us
through the coverage of the
course as it relates to the
teaching-learning process in
the LDMs adopted by our
school.
KEY TOPICS / CONCEPTS
- LCP capacity building
framework;
- Course rationale and
objectives;
- Course design
- Content and delivery
- Self-learning modules
- Learning action cell
Activity # 1
Read the LDM Course Overview. Reflect on the overview by
answering the following questions. Write down your insights in your
Study Notebook.

1. What is the main delivery of this course?

2. How can this course help ensure that you will be able to
deliver quality instruction in the “new normal”

3. What are the two support mechanisms that will help you
with this learning in this course?
1. What is the main delivery of this
course?
Main delivery of this course is that, even in the face of this continuing health threath,
Our Department of Education is very eager to continue LEARNING while it
guarantees health safety and wellbeing of all learners and teachers. Through the LCP
or the Learning Continuity Plan, they have recognized alternative modes of delivering
lessons to reach our learners regardless of who and where they are.

Through this LAC Sessions, we teachers are informed and updated on the different
modalities to be used either Distance Learning, Blended Learning or Home
Schooling, in which we are being prepared to be flexible and more adaptive so that
we may find ways and means to deliver quality education even at this moment of
pandemic.
2. How can this course help ensure that you will be able
to deliver quality instruction in the “new normal”
If we think positively. As Teachers, we still believed that quality education may prevail
even if the times like this. Through this course, together with my co-teachers we will
do our best to be able to share our different quality thoughts to come up with possible
solutions on how to deliver quality education. at this point SHARING of ideas from
different perspectives could lead us to more deeper relaization on how to deal with
delivering quality instruction in the NEW NORMAL.
3. What are the two support mechanisms that will help
you with this learning in this course?
Will Power - is the motivation to exercise will. With strong willpower I will be able to
assert decisions even in the face of this pandemic. A person with little willpower will
give in easily. at this point of time we need this, let us not see this course as an
additional burden to us teachers, rather let us embrace it for this is the new normal
cause i believed that this pandemic will soon pass and this will not hinder us to do
what we LOVE to do which is to LEARN and Share the things that we learn.
(TEACHING)

Supportive Environment - At this moment, we need all the support that we can get
from our environment. Supportive colleagues/superiors could motivate us to learn
more and to exert more efforts specially in our field of specialization - let us set aside
our differences and work together to come up with good outputs to be able to face
the new normal. Supportive Family Members / Love ones with this it could boost our
confidence to work hard and be able to contribute fruitfully in our DEPARTMENT.
Supportive Community - with the support and continous belief of the community we
are able to work courageously since this is for them and not for us.
