SOLID SHAPES / FIGURES

Every solid occupies some space.

Solid shapes have three measurements – length, breadth and

height/thickness. So, a solid shape is also called a 3 –
dimensional or 3D shape.

FACE , EDGES AND VERTEX OF A SOLID FIGURE

Solid shapes have faces, edges and vertices.

The surface of a solid figure is called its face.

The two faces meet to make an edge.

Edge

The corner or vertex is a place where three or more edges meet.
