Introduction
The accelerated development of new technology,
particularly on mobile application has increased teacher’s
responsibility as a learning facilitator. Since technology is
improving, many applications keep on coming into the market to
fulfill user’s demands. Mobile learning application is very useful in
enriching the mobile learning experience of children. These
digital devices represent a new generation of technological tools
that offer remarkable access to content as well as opportunities
for creative use even by young children.

Objective of the Study
The general aim of this study is to develop a GMRC Learning Mobile
Application for young children. The objectives of the study are the following:

• To provide simple and colorful UI design for children

• To provide entertaining and knowledgeable animated video presentations
about GMRC.
• To provide basic idea about Good Manners and Right Conduct that can
acquire by children using the animated videos.
• To provide the basic lessons about shapes, colors, numbers, and
alphabets.
• To provide simple and enjoyable game in the application.

Scope and Limitations
The study covers the development of GMRC Learning Application on
Android platform for age 3-5 years old children.

• User-Friendly
• Responsive
• Adaptive
• Runs in offline settings

Due to design constraints, the system will only cater client who has Android-
based devices like smartphones and tablets and will not be applicable on
desktop or laptop computer.

Methodology
Methods and procedures were discussed to gain necessary
information or knowledge about the problems and difficulties that
the current system is facing to make the research more efficient,
organized, and understandable. Considering the statements
mentioned above, the researchers thought of a new way to
improve or make an alternative solution that would give a more
helpful suggestion in developing software.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis Phase

The proponents collected all the application requirements and

needed features through online research, discussion.

System Design Phase
The proponents used the requirement specification documents
to prepare the system software project.

System design is the process where the researcher specify

the system architecture, parts, modules, interface and the data
utilizing the requirement specification documents.

Implementation Phase
Programmers begin to create the system’s code using a
certain programming language. The proponents already decided
which language they use for developing the system project.

Integration and Testing Phase
The proponents aimed to find defects and bugs inside the
system to check whether the application was true as indicated by
what was recorded in the requirement analysis phase. The
product after through testing in fixing all the defects such as the
bugs, it could be ready to be deployed.

Maintenance
Maintenance is the backbone of software success. When the
software is already developed, then the software needs, modules
and features needs to be modified from time to time to keep it up
to date with the environmental changes.
