Mixed Methods Research (Concurrent)
What is a Mixed Methods Research (Concurrent)?
Both qualitative and quantitative data are gathered at the same period of the
concurrent design. The data might be gathered from the same individuals or similar
target audiences because the main goal of this strategy is to comprehend the
phenomena under research more thoroughly.
Purpose of Mixed Methods Research
(Concurrent)?
The combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies in a sequential temporal order has
been a prevalent restriction throughout mixed methods research, preventing the integration of
both data types under a single process of data analysis (Bryman, 2007).
One drawback is that it could be harder to execute. It could take more
knowledge than utilizing just one approach to gather, analyze, and interpret
data. Combining various approaches necessitates more time and financial
resources.
