2. GE vs Greenhose
3. kako studentima pribliziti IR kad se “ne vidi”?
4. kako da im se objasni da O2 i N2 ne apsorbuju IR?

• Nobel Prize in Physics 2021 was awarded with one half jointly to Syukuro Manabe and Klaus
Hasselmann "for the physical modelling of Earth's climate, quantifying variability and
reliably predicting global warming”
4 1. GREENHOUSE EFFECT VS GLOBAL
WARMING
• Greenhouse effect
• The greenhouse effect is the way in which heat is trapped close to Earth's surface
by “greenhouse gases.”
• Global warming
• long-term heating of Earth's climate system observed since the pre-industrial period (between
1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-
trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth's atmosphere.
• Globalno zagrevanje jeste bazirano na efektu staklene baste tj. na njegovom uvecanju ljudskom
aktivnoscu.

MOLECULAR SPECTRA
• Simple 2-atomic molecules - only one hemical bond која може да мења
дужину
• More complex molecules – more bonds … Сложенији молекули имају
више веза па могу на више начина да мењају њихов облик и величину
• i.e. СН2, six modes of vibration, H2O…
