The internet is very much useful in our daily routine tasks. For
example, it helps us to see our notifications and emails. Apart from
this we can use the internet for money transfers, shopping order
online food,etc.

Computer addiction is characterized by excessive or poorly


controlled preoccupations, urges or behaviors regarding computer
use and internet access that lead the impairment or distress.

harass,threaten or intimidate
somronr.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDRED BULLYING,THE
BEHAVIOUR MUST BE AGGRESSIVE AND
INCLUDE:

once or have the potential to
happen more than once.

VERBAL BULLYING

• is saying or writing means


things. Examples: teasing,
name calling, inapprotiate
sexual comments, taunting,
threatening to cause harm.
SOCIAL BULLYING

• social reffered to as relational


bullying,involves hurting
someone’s reputation or
relationships.
Examples-telling other not to
be friends, embarrassing
someone in public,spreading
rumors about someone.
PHYSICAL BULLYING

• Involves hurting a person’s


body or possessions.
Examples-
hitting,kicking,pinching,spitting
,tripping/pushing,taking/breaki
ng someone’s thing.
THERE ARE VARIOUS WAYS IN WHICH
CYBERBULLYING MAY OCCUR

• Flaming-sending angry,rude ,vulgar messages directed at a person or persons privately or to
an online group.
• Harassment-repeatedly sending a person offensive messages.
• Cyberstalking-harassment that includes threats of harm.
• Denigration(puts down)- sending or posting harmful, untrue, or cruel statements about a
person to other people.
• Masquerade-pretending to be someone else and sending or posting materials that portrays
a person or entity negatively.
• Outing ang trickery-sending or posting material about a person that contains sensitive
information, including forwarding private messages or images.
• Exclusion-actions that specifically and intentionally exclude a person from an online group.
