• The Reference page can be written in either the Modern Language


Association (MLA) or the American Psychological Association
(APA) format.

• It is important for the students to cite their sources in order to


acknowledge the work of others and avoid plagiarism.

• Book
Author’s last name, First name. Title of the Book. Publisher, Year of Publication.
• Online Journal
Author’s last name, First Name. “Article Title”. Journal Title, Volume, Year, Page Number, Website/URL. Date
accessed.
• Video/Film/ Movie
Surname, First Name of the Creator. “Title of the Video or Audio”. Title of the website. Role of contributors
and their first name and surname. Version, Numbers, Publisher, Publication Date, URL.

CITING AN ENTIRE WEB SITE

• When citing an entire website, follow the same format as listed above, but
include a compiler name if no single author is available.
• Author, or compiler name (if available). Name of Site. Version number (if
available), Name of institution/organization affiliated with the site (sponsor or
publisher), date of resource creation (if available), DOI (preferred), otherwise
include a URL or permalink. Date of access (if applicable).
CITING AN ENTIRE WEB SITE

• Editor, author, or compiler name (if available). Name of Site. Version number,


Name of institution/organization affiliated with the site (sponsor or publisher),
date of resource creation (if available), URL, DOI or permalink. Date of access
(if applicable).
