• Having good strategy is one of the basic elements of good game play. A team with
good strategies will be lost on the court and eaten up by the opposing team. It is also
important, though, that a team can vary their playing style.

ROTATIONS
A rotation is a pre – set line up of player’s That a couch
sets up , determining where each player will be on court .
This rotation may exchange during a game based on skill
of your opponent’s .
SET PLAYS

• You can design set plays so that your team can come through In the clutch
or in key situations . Isolation plays are great to practice when you have one strong player on
your team or when you are in need of a buzzer beater from your best shooter .
SCREEN

A screen is a blocking move by an offensive player in which they stand beside or behind a
defender in order to free a teammate to either shoot a pass or drive in to score. In basketball
and field lacrosse, it is also known as a pick. Screens can be on-ball, or off-ball.
POSTING UP
Posting up. To “post up” is to establish a position in the low post, the area near the basket
below the foul line, usually in order to take advantage of a smaller defender. The offensive
player usually faces away from the basket, so that his/her body can protect the ball from
being stolen by the defender.
