ABSTRACT
 ABSTRACT
This study discusses a Comparative and Contrast between Cash on
Delivery and Gcash. The researcher present a summary of variables
examined and quantitative analytical techniques with 5 articles in
refereed journals published from 1980 through 2021. Simple Random
Sampling was used which include random selection of respondents per
section in Grade 11 and 12 ABM and STEM Students of BHC
Educational Institution Inc. This study utilized quantitative research
through survey and questionnaires. It was found that the respondents are
somewhat likely in terms of Gcash as a mode payment while it is very
likely in terms of Cash on Delivery as a mode of payment. The
respondents preferred cash on delivery as a mode of payment rather than
using their Gcash

METHODOLOGY
Research Design
This study is utilized Descriptive Research in
gathering data employs a quantitative type of research
with Causal-Comparative Research to discover a
cause and effect relationship between two variables
(one dependent and one independent). According to
Dua Fatima (2015). In this type of research
investigators attempt to determine the cause or
consequences of differences that already exist
between or among groups of individual.

Instrumentation and Data
Collection Tools
Researchers used a revised questionnaire to gather data.
An interview through online platform by a survey to be
made with Google forms. The setup follows a simple
normal questionnaire that is regarding to the topic on the
preferred payment method of the chosen participants from
grade 11 & 12 students. The following steps were followed
in collecting the data:

1. The researcher will formulate a questionnaire through Google forms;
2. The questionnaire will be validated by the experts of Senior High School
teachers.
3. The researchers will ask permission to conduct the study from school
principal;
4. The respondents will be chosen randomly;
5. The researchers will gather and orient the respondents;
6. They will conduct and administer the questionnaire by sending the Google
forms through Facebook messenger;
7. They will retrieve the questionnaire;
8. They will tally, organize, analyze and interpret the data gathered.

SAMPLING
Simple Random Sampling is the sample
approach used in this study also known as
selective or subjective sampling which
researcher relies on his or her own judgment
when choosing members of population to
participate in the study. Aims to know the
preferred mode of payment in terms of
buying products online.

Materials and Procedures
The responses of selected students under
Grade 11 & 12 students were collected
through survey made by Google forms as
they were individually given each
according to main questions of the study.
The results were extracted from thematic
analyses individually.

STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF DATA
The data were treated and interpreted involved the use of
structured questionnaire, which has questions and answers set that
has been used as a guide. Casual – Comparative Analysis this
statistical method is useful for the study of causes where
experimental assignment or manipulation is infeasible, unethical,
or in some way prohibited. A sample mean formula was used to
determine if there is a significant difference between the means of
two groups, which may be related in certain features.

CONCLUSION
Conclusion
There are many methods of data collection, such as
surveys, questioners, and interviews as data collection.
These are the measures that the researcher take to figure
out what they most prefer of payment for online shopping.
The majority of students favored Cash on Delivery over
Gcash Payment Method, according to the study. Because
we will be able to examine the merchandise before handing
the money, Cash on Delivery is also a safe and trusted
transaction.

RECOMMENDATION
RECOMMENDATION
The proponents of this research recommendations
that future researchers know the most preferable
method of payment when it comes to online
shopping. Conducting quantitative study is much
better in order for the figures to be shown as
numerical values rather than narrative statements. It
is also preferred to see the most preferred mode of
payment of such online shoppers in terms of
purchasing product online.
