What is your Motivation?
Our motivation for our topic about waste
management is we want to improve
cleanliness and help students to reduce
their work in cleaning.
Main Objective:
The researchers' main goal is to appropriately improve
and take small actions or steps regarding waste
management at San Matias National High School-
Senior High School and to turn the waste into
something that will benefit the students and the
school's environment.

General Problem:
The main problem of this research is the effects of poor
management. According to the study of Otchere, et al (2014),
several causes of the garbage problem have been identified,
including a lack of dumping locations, public confusion about the
importance of proper garbage disposal, and ineffective collecting
methods. Moreover, Galarpe & He yasa, (2017) stated that most
of the waste generated in schools were plastics, papers, food
waste, and polyethylene (PET) bottles.
Statement of the Problem:
1. What is the demographic profile of the participants?
1.1 Name
1.2 Section
1.3 Sex

2. Results of the study that contributes to the school and students in a proper manner.

3. Effectiveness of the actions that need to be considered for waste management in SMNHS - SHS

4. The cause that hinders cleanliness in the environment of SMNHS - SHS

Section
Action Plan
The plan the researchers want to execute is to implement segregation bins in
two or more particular sections of San Matias National High School-SHS
And compare the management
of waste from the sections without segregation bins.
The segregation bins will be used for certain scraps such as a bin just for
"plastic" and there will be a collection of segregated "usable" garbage that
the researchers can scrap on plastic, papers, and metal collectors for a bit of
fund or revenue that can benefit.
Closing
If the action plan of the study that is conducted by the
researchers will be executed properly based on what is
planned, it may be beneficial not only for the students but
also for the environment of the school.
This may also help future studies to come up and innovate
new ideas for waste management.
Thank you!!
