INTRODUCTION
• Online Education is an experience partially or wholly done on the
internet and has no physical boundary as it allows for students to
partake in classes and interact with their peers from any location
using technological management tools built specifically for
communication as such.
• Online education is no news in the 21st century and it has been a
phenomenon of discourse given its compulsory trend in the
Covid-19 pandemic era.
INTRODUCTION
• Although, the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated how
online learning could pose a difficult process to execute
and it is evident the most, in the issue of time
management and procrastination.
• This research looks to suggest ways to solving these
problems of online education with careful scrutiny of
how the effects emerged.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

• Putting into consideration, the compulsion several

institutions of learning around the globe had during
the Covid-19 pandemic to switching almost
completely to online learning has beckoned upon and
birthed several questions as regards the effects of
online learning and whether it should be continued
even in the post Covid-19 era.
JUSTIFICATIO
N
• The advent of e-learning is a plus to the information
technology and one of the biggest positive
consequences has been the higher role of mobile
applications in education,
• Although, using e-learning comes with some demerits
like the technical issue aspect where there might be
network connection brouhaha and which is a factor that
contributes to poor time management and sometimes,
lack of motivation to use online learning.
AIM & METHODOLOGIES
E-learning can be improved upon and as such, the
following measures can be practiced:
1. Digital modelling and simulations for students with disability

• It is sometimes difficult for students to grasp ideas due to their

nature of assimilation and understanding concepts being taught in
traditional learning and hence,
• introducing digital models of concepts could help give a clearer
picture of specific ideas being passed on to learners by their
instructors.
AIM & METHODOLOGIES(cont’d)
• Also, it is important to note that developers must consider to include
a number of accessibility features to help aid easy learning for
learners with disability and the physically challenged.
2. Improved Communication and Network stability
• As it is a fact that communication is an essential part of any activity,
In learning, ineffective communication is just as bad as not being in
class to a learner.
• Since technology has emerged, communication gaps have been filled
and the flow of knowledge has been smoothened.
• Research has it that most prematurely ended online classes are due to
poor network and ineffective communication between the instructor
and student and this can be improved by building better
communication tools with lesser interference and lesser network
noise.
CONSIDERATION & EVALUATION
• Another way to help build improved communication is by going wired,
not wi-fi and a good example is a student connecting directly to a
router via an Ethernet cable to creating a high speed internet
connection.
• Above all, knowing where to get technical issues fixed is a big plus to
solving the challenges of e-learning and as such, developers should
ensure to build software applications that allows for easy
troubleshooting of technical problems.
• Considerations must be put in place that not every user is tech savvy
and familiar with the technology. Improving on communication and
network tools will no doubt enhance better time management and
reduce procrastination of learners
CONCLUSION
• Despite the flaws and shortcomings of online education,
it is not without obvious reasons that it is to be worked
upon and embraced the more because it has in trying
times (Covid-19 pandemic era) been a cogent escape
route globally to advancing the education sector without
much hassle.
• The demand for e-learning is on a daily rate, increasing
at a high pace with new players arriving the learning
market at no interval.
CONCLUSION
• E-learning is shaping the way that many top organizations
train their workforce.
• Online education has no doubt helped industrialization and
in turn boost economies on a global level and is why it will
most likely be trend in a decade and beyond with new and
better features.
• The shortcomings of online education are minor compared
to the benefits and advantages.
• Also, technology is being improvised on a daily basis, new
inventions are being introduced continuously and now it is
safe to say e-learning is the future of Global education.
