What is spam?

▪ SPAM stands for SPECIAL PROCESSED AMERICAN MEAT.


▪ Spam refers to the unsolicited bulk messages being sent through
email instant messaging text messaging and other digital
communication tools.
▪ Spam is rarely send directly by company advertising itself.it is usually
sent by a ’’SPAMMER’’, a company in the business of distributing
unsolicited email.it is used by advertisers because there are no
operating cost beyond that of managing their mailing lists.
Email spam:

▪ Email spam referred to as junk email or simply spam.


▪ Email messages you didn’t ask for from sender you don’t know. spam
is legal in United State. In general you need no worry-unless you see
suspicious activity beyond just spam. you can’t get hacked by simply
opening an email.
INSTANT MESSAGING SPAM:

▪ Instant messaging spam is similar to email spam. The main


difference is that efforts on bombarding your email inbox ,spammers
attempt to fool you on an instant messaging service such as
facebook messenger or SMS text messages.
▪ A good way to avoid most of it is to create list of your close friends
from whom instant messages are accepted or to block numbers you
do not recognized .
Smart phone spam:

▪ It is possible to receive spam messages through email , text


messages or even phone calls on your mobile phone. It is important
that you do not call back the number that has called to ask for
information ,even if it is from source you recognize ,as it could be a
spammer or hacker pretended to be an institution
What are marketing activities?

▪ Marketing refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the


buying and selling of a product or services.
▪ Marketing includes advertising , selling , and delivering products to
consumers or other businesses.
Types of marketing :

▪ Content marketing
▪ Social media marketing
▪ Email marketing
▪ Direct marketing
Content marketing:

▪ Content marketing means planning ,creating and distributing


content .
▪ Content marketing involves creating content such as e-books or
webinars ,to encourage potential customers to interact with your
brand more frequently.
Social media marketing

▪ Social media advertising means strategically buying and optimizing


paid ad campaigns on social media platforms
▪ Social media marketing is the use of social media like facebook ,
Twitter or LinkedIn to market a company’s product or services.Social
media marketing uses social media platforms as a key channel to
share your messaging .
Email marketing

▪ Email marketing is a digital marketing method where companies


send emails to customers.
▪ It is a strategy where you send potential customers marketing
messaging through email. It’s used in both B2B and B2C marketing
strategies . It is a kind of marketing messaging done through the
channel of email.
Direct marketing

▪ Direct marketing means promoting your products directly ,through


owned channel where you don’t pay per view or click-like email or
SMS.
▪ Simply direct marketing involves sending sending promotional
marketing materials directly to customers .
