1. Family – comes from a wealthy and


respected political family

father – former Sen Ninoy Aquino who


was assassinated in 1983 when he
voluntarily returned to the Phils during
the Marcos dictatorial govt

revolution in 1986 and toppled the Marcos
dictatorship

• Third of the five children and only son

of 61 due to renal disease secondary to
diabetes, according to the Aquino family
