VERBAL
 This is a type of communication
which uses utterances or speaking to
communicate.
NONVERBAL
 This is a type of communication that
DOES NOT use utterances or speaking
to communicate. It uses symbols or
facial expression.

INTERPERSONA
ThisLis a form of communication
which takes place between two
individuals and is thus a one-on-one
conversation.
INTRAPERSON
This is a form of communication

This is a form of communication
that can take place only when
there are more than two people
involved.

example of this form.
FACIAL EXPRESSION
This is a nonverbal
communication which uses
person’s faces to deliver a
message.
POSTURE
Body languages like arms-crossing and
leg-crossing to convey a message or to
communicate is an example of this.
PROXEMICS
Considering spaces like distance
especially in conversations is an
example of this form.
HAPTICS
Communicating through touch is
another important nonverbal
behaviour. This is the best example
of this form.
EYE CONTACT
Gazing or using eyes to convey
a message to a person is an
example of this form.
ARTIFACTS
Objects and images are also tools
that can be used for
communication. These are
examples of this form.
SYMBOLS
This is something which represents an
idea, a physical entity or a process but
is distinct from it which eventually
communicates meaning.
APPEARANCE
Our choice of color, clothing,
hairstyles, and other factors
affecting our personality is
considered a means of nonverbal
communication.
SIGNAL
This is a nonverbal
communication which conveys
notice or warning. Example is
waving someone to come to you.

CROSS IT OUT. UNTIL WE ARE DONE THE BLACK OUT.
