Barangay Tech-Savvy

A four step workshop training the


community and a livelihood program basic
technological tasks to aid with job
searching.
I. Introduction
Todays modern technological advancements are rapid. People utilize it to
perform simple tasks to make the task at hand easier. Additionally, they use
technology to communicate with one another via online platforms developed
by a large number of creative people with a vision. Despite the widespread
usage of technology in current culture, those over the age of 35 are less likely to
have a fundamental comprehension of it because technology was less
widespread when they were young.

Barangay Tech-Savvy is a program and seminar that will improve the


neighborhood's technological understanding and proficiency. This course will
cover the fundamentals of photoshop, typing, coding, formatting, and other
techniques that a person will need in terms of finding employment. On the
other side, it also improves a person's technical application skills.
II. Rationale

As technology develops, many job opportunities appear.


As a result, many people need to receive suitable
instruction in technology matters. It is essential to have a
basic understanding of computer jargon because it is
today's primary requirement for many common
occupations.

Recognizing the Basic
Technology Terminology

In step 1, we'll focus more on educating


readers about the internal and external
workings of computers.

• How to utilize computer programs


• Using the file explorer

Step 2, we'll focus more on enlightening
individuals on the fundamental software
tools that are employed in professional
settings.

Step by Step Activities
Step 3, we'll show them how to put their
newfound knowledge into practice. Additionally,
it will be classified differently and will be more
challenging to test the community's knowledge
from the previous two days. Here, people can take
quizzes to see if they learned anything from the
lessons that were taught.

Group lectures on technology, its uses,

And lastly, the community will be requested
to hear from two capable and reliable
people who work in technology. As a result,
internet users will have a clear grasp of
what to expect when applying for jobs. The
invited visitor will provide a more thorough
explanation of what people have learnt over
the last three days and will address any
inquiries.
