Solomon Builds the Temple
So Solomon built the temple and completed it. 15 He lined its interior walls with cedar
14
boards, so that in the interior from the floor of the temple to the ceiling, and covered the
floor of the temple with planks of juniper. 16 He partitioned off twenty cubits at the rear of
the temple with cedar boards from floor to ceiling to form within the temple an inner
sanctuary, the Most Holy Place. 17 The main hall in front of this room was forty
cubits long. 18 The inside of the temple was cedar, carved with gourds and open flowers.
Everything was cedar; no stone was to be seen.
He prepared the inner sanctuary within the temple to set the ark of the covenant of
19
the Lord there. 20 The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty wide and twenty high.
He overlaid the inside with pure gold, and he also overlaid the altar of cedar. 21 Solomon
covered the inside of the temple with pure gold, and he extended gold chains across the front
of the inner sanctuary, which was overlaid with gold. 22 So he overlaid the whole interior with
gold. He also overlaid with gold the altar that belonged to the inner sanctuary.

Wahat is Area?
• What is Perimeter?
Presentation title 11
-can be defined as the space
occupied by a flat shape or the
surface of an object.
Area and perimeter formulas:
Presentation title 14
Examples
• Solution:
• A rectangle has a length
• Area of a rectangle is L × W
of 6 inches and a width where L is the length and W is
of 4 inches. The area is the width
• 6 × 4 = 24 in2.

Examples
• Solution:
• The side of a square is 5
• The sides of а square are equal
meters. The area of the size. The square's area is a × a
square is m^2 where a is the side of the
square.
• 5 × 5 = 25m^2

Examples
• Solution:
• The radius of a circular
Here r = 7 m. Then,
region is 7 m. Find its
Perimeter = 2πr = 2 × 3.14 × 7
perimeter and area. m = 43.96 m;
(Use π = 3.14) Area = πr2 = 3.14 × 72 m2 =
153.86 m2.

Examples
• Solution:
• Find the perimeter of a
Perimeter of the triangle is the
triangle whose sides are sum of the lengths of its sides.
5 cm, 2 cm and 3 cm. Perimeter = 5 cm + 2 cm + 3 cm
Thus, perimeter = 10 cm.
Presentation title 18
Examples
• Solution:
Find the perimeter & Area = base x height
area of parallelogram Area = 5 x 4.2
Area = 21 cm 2
with base 5 cm , width 3
Perimeter = 2l + 2w
cm and height 4.2 cm. = 2( 5) + 2(3)
= 10 + 6
Perimeter = 16 cm.
