Personal Pronouns
Pronouns Race
Material: none Age: any
Time: 10 minutes
The students will be divided into 2 or 3
teams (depending on how many students
are in the class). Each team will stand in
line and the teacher will shout out a
question, for example, “what is the
equivalent to she?”. Then, the students
will have to run to the teacher to answer
the question. Each question answered
correctly ascribes 1 point to the team , in
a way that the group with most points at
the end is the winner.
Pronouns Detective
Material: Powerpoint with pictures
Age: 12+
Time: 15-20 min
The teacher divides the class into two
groups, with a student as a
representative in each. Each round, the
teacher will say a pronoun that will
refer to 1 of the pictures on the slide.
Each group will have 1 minute to
discuss which image the teacher was
referring to and after that, the teacher
will ask the representatives of each
group for the number of the correct
picture.
Quiz
Material: devices
connected to the
Internet

Time: 10 min
The teacher will start the Quiz
on the site and share the code to
the students. Each student will
then open the link, and put the
code. After that they just need
to answer the questions
correctly.
The group that gets it correctly will win
the round and in the end, the group with
the majority of round victories wins. In
case of both groups getting it correctly,
the round will be declared a draw.
In case of online classes, the teacher will
divide the class using the breakout
rooms tools from Google and send them
there in each round, after they have
seen the slide and heard the pronoun.
The teacher must also visit each room to
ensure the students are discussing and
to show the slide in case they forgot.
