PROJECT
DESCRIPTION

Using the Surreal Movie Poster from

a previous project, students were
asked to design a 3D augmented
reality scene using Adobe Aero.
Through use of animation, sound, and
layering, in-depth scenes create an
enhanced viewer experience which
draws interest to the poster.

PROJECT
IDEATION
FINAL REFLECTION
While brainstorming what to do for my AR poster, I immediately
knew I wanted to have an animation involving the zipper zipping
open and closed. At first, I struggled to do the zipper animation
because the leather material needed to be warped to
accommodate for the zipper closing. I found that using the freeze
tool helped to keep the image consistent. I ended up doing four
frames for the animation, which gives it almost a stop motion feel.
From there, I added an unsettling audio to the background and
plauylelerdcmlosyetrextot athe audience. The poster felt static,
so I decided to incorporation a second animation
of the eye blinking. I layered this behind the zipper
animation to add a bit of depth. Overall, I am
happy with how the AR turned out. I was
struggling with the program for a little bit,
especially with the file formats, so I think the end
product reflects well despite my struggles.
