MACRO PRESPECTIVE OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY
RICE ( REGIONS NCR )
Rice, locally known as “Palay” (un-milled rice), “Bigas” (milled rice),
and “Kanin” (cooked rice) is much more than food. It is a grain crop that
has historical and cultural significance. As a complex carb, it is the
primary source of energy for over half of the world's people. Depending
on the strain of rice, it can contain decent amounts of fibre, protein,
vitamin B, iron and manganese. This means it can play a vital role against
malnutrition.

BANANAS ( REGIONS NCR )
A banana is a curved, yellow fruit with a thick skin and soft sweet flesh. If
you eat a banana every day for breakfast, your roommate might nickname
you "the monkey." A banana is a tropical fruit that's quite popular all over
the world. It grows in bunches on a banana tree. Bananas contain a number
of vitamins and minerals. Vitamin B6: A medium banana gives you about a
quarter of the vitamin B6 you should get each day. It helps with
metabolism. And it plays an important role in brain development during
pregnancy and infancy, as well as immune system health.
