DEFINITION
OF IDEOLOGY
Idea means ideals, ideas, concepts, basic notions, and notions,
Logos means science.
So ideology can be interpreted as the science of ideas, ideas or
ideals.
- Ideology is a set of action-oriented ideas or thoughts organized
into an organized system.
- Ideology is a science related to ideals consisting of a set of ideas
or human thoughts regarding matters of political ideals, doctrines or
teachings, values related to the life of society, nation and state.
PANCASILA AS
STATE IDEOLOGY
Pancasila is the foundation of the state and the ideology of the nation, and the 1945

Constitution is the legal source of all statutory law in Indonesia. In the legal system in

Indonesia, Pancasila must be placed as the main reference. This means that all legal products,

both in the form of legislation and regulations under it, must always be inspired by the values

of Pancasila. Therefore, all laws and regulations must have the spirit and spirit of Pancasila,

and be oriented towards strengthening the unity and integrity (integration) of the nation.

We have the right to embrace religion and belief in accordance with our
own choices and beliefs.

Have the right to receive protection from other people and the

REAL LIFE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RIGHTS &
RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARD IDEOLOGY
The First Precept (Belief in One God) The implementation of the first principle of Pancasila can be done
by respecting every difference, differences in beliefs among people.
The Second Precept (Fair and Civilized Humanity) The implementation of this second precept is by:
instilling and applying a sense of tolerance to others, always being fair to everyone without discriminating.
Third Precept (Indonesian Unity). This third precept can be implemented by reviving all the differences
that exist, namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika which means although different but still one goal.
Fourth Precept (Democracy led by Wisdom in Consultation / Representation). In the fourth principle of
Pancasila, Indonesian people can implement it by: respecting other people without distinguishing them at
all, always being honest during elections.
Fifth Precept (Social Justice for All Indonesian People). Implementation of the Fifth Precept of Pancasila:
instill an attitude of helping each other so that a harmonious and peaceful life can be realized
CONCLUSION
The five basic values of Pancasila or Indonesian Ideology are essentially ideals
and moral demands as the foundation of the life of the nation and state, namely
living in harmony, tolerance, and mutual cooperation even though they are
different in various aspects of life, but have and are united by the same human
dignity to strive to fill independence in a democratic and civilized manner.
