    Fall through a floor opening

    Incident description
    On a construction site an external contractor performed the pre-preparation When contractor stepped on the cover
    work for a planned painting activity. During the preparation, the worker the cover suddenly slipped, and the
    stepped on a wooden cover on the floor. These covers are used to secure contractor felt down approximately 7m
    floor openings. through the opening on the floor to the
    lower level.
    Rescue started immediately, and the
    contractor was brought to hospital by
    ambulance.

     The affected area was closed off


    Immediate  All floor openings were immediately checked and secured
    actions  The entire constructions site was checked on 25th October before start of constructions work
