    Ibn Khaldun was an influential Muslim historian, philosopher and sociologist from Tunisia who lived from 1332 to 1406. He is considered the founder of sociology and the science of history. Al-Khwarizmi was a Muslim mathematician, astronomer and geographer from Persia who lived from 780 to 850 AD. He is known as the father of algebra and invented basic concepts and branches of mathematics, giving methods for computing square roots and deriving the word "algebra" from one of his books. Both made significant contributions in history, sociology, mathematics and science through their writings.
