INVENTORY SYSTEM

PROBLEM:

Slow and inaccurate inventory process and

monitoring.
There are a total of 11 separate logbooks as of to date with no
proper labeling on the contents as to what are those written
numbers are and what unit of measurement used.

Sandra, on the other hand is having hard time understanding

easily what is written on the notebook. And keeps on making
mistakes and going back and forth to person in-charge for
clarification.

Aside from this, from my inquiry to the checkers, when I asked

why is a certain monitoring not updated, or why are there items on
a monitoring unrecorded unto the summary monitoring book, the
common answer was that they haven’t had the time yet to input.
Or that they will update the monitoring later. Also, there are items
that are brought-in and out (diskarga-karga) and they didn’t felt
the need to record it properly on the pick-up/karga notebook.

No proper
labeling
Therefore I am proposing a DAILY MONITORING SHEET
(DMS) as a standard form of inventory on the items
brought in and out.
What is a DMS?
A daily monitoring sheet is a fillable sheet intended for recording all activities without
having to use a lot of monitoring notebook.

* THERE SHOULD BE STRICT IMPLEMENTATION
ON THE DESIGNATION OF THE CHECKERS IN
ORDER TO IDENTIFY POOR WORK QUALITY
AND AVOID MISTAKES ON DAILY MONITORING.
THIS WAY, WE WILL KNOW WHOM TO ASK IF A
PROBLEM ARISE.
*SANDRA SHOULD BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ON
THE TERMINOLOGIES AND ABBREVATIONS
USED BY CHECKERS. AS WELL AS WHAT UNIT
OF MEASUREMENT USED FOR EVERY ITEM.
