Description :
• Vitrified tile is a ceramic tile with very low porosity.
• An alternative to marble and granite often used outdoors
due to their water and frost resistance.

Soluble salt
• Screen printed and polished.
• 3 to 4 mm thicker
• Does not permit complex patterns but
results in a long-wearing tile surface
suitable for heavy traffic commercial
projects.
• Design layer should not be more than
4mm thickness, which may weaken

INDIAN MARBLE
 COMPARISON
Strength and Durability
• Indian marble is available in a thickness of about
30mm while the thickness of Italian marble
ranges between 18 to 20 mm.
• The latter is much softer, it develops small
hairline cracks. Thin nylon sheet is used for
backing extra reinforcement.
• Italian marble has to be treated with epoxy resins
and matching pigments to increase its strength,
one side of the Italian marble is always pre-
polished to hide the chemical resins.
Maintenance
• Italian and Indian marble have the tendency to lose
their lustre after a few years.
• Both needs periodically polish to retain their original
shine.
• Carborundum stone and tin oxide used for polish.
• All the liquid spills on marble should be cleaned.
• Delicate stone should never be scrubbed.
• Italian marble and Indian marble should be sealed
with impregnating sealers which create a protective
and stain-resistant surface.

Description
• The core layer of engineered hardwood is made up of pine and
spruce woods, which allows the engineered flooring to expand
and contract with changing temperature and moisture levels
without affecting your floor, the way a solid hardwood floor
would be affected.
