referring to a collection of
things taken as a whole.
• Example: team, class,
gang, bunch.
Abstract Noun
• An abstract noun is a
noun denoting an idea,
quality, or state rather
than a concrete object.
• Example: truth, happiness,
honesty.
Concrete Noun
• A concrete noun is a noun
that can be identified through
one of the five senses (taste,
touch, sight, hearing, or
smell).
