 METHODOLOGY

 Figure 1 shows the map of Mangagoy, Bislig

City, Mangagoy is located at southern part of
the Philippines with more less 30,541 residents.

 Summary of findings

1.) Based from the data that I gathered, my respondents

indicated their profile like age, income and years of driving
experiences. Through interview i found out how long they've
been driving and how their income is not enough for their
livelihood.

2.) This study aimed to determine the advantage and disadvantage of
jeepney modernization from a respondent, modernized has a big
challenge to them like on financial, jeepney modernized is a very
expensive and drivers can't afford it. But my respondents say that
modernized has a good advantage to their passengers because aside it's
knew it is also has aircon, serviceable for short it's comfortable.

3.) My study indicated the struggles and challenges encountered by jeepney
drivers from the implementation of the Jeepney Modernization Program
(JMP). Based from the information that I gathered from my respondent, they
encountered a lot of accident in the road but also with passenger air caused
some passage and don't want to ride on jeep for some reason,but beyond of
all that struggles and challenges they still find ways or strategies to cope up
and persuade a passenger and to increase their income.

4.) According to my respondent that their strategy or solutions
might not be permanent but being patient in driving is the only way
to earn money. Also, jeepney modernization program is just
modernize so it means or they wouldn't be phase out.
