Name that 2D
I have 4 equal sides and angles.

SQUARE
I have 5 sides and angles which
can be equal or unequal

PENTAGON
I have constant diameter and radius.
My angle is equal to 360 degrees

CIRCLE
I have 6 sides and angles which can
be equal or unequal.

HEXAGON
I have 2 sets of 2 equal sides with 4
equal angles

RECTANGLE
NetForm
Gina’s younger brother, Chris is sick.
On his birthday, she bought him a gift. It’s
a cube-shaped, multi-coloured gift which
Chris could play even when he is lying on
his bed. He would surely enjoy twisting
this toy to align the colors on the same
side. What toy could this be?
Solid figures are three-dimensional (3D)
objects having flat surfaces called faces, line
where two faces meet called edge and point
where three edges meet called vertex.
Prism
Has 6 faces, 8 vertices and 12
edges. It has equal parallel
sides. It could be triangle,
square, rectangle prism.
Cube

Has 6 square faces, 8 vertices

and 12 edges. All 6 plane
surfaces of this figure are equal.
Pyramid

A square pyramid has 5

faces, 5 vertices and 8 edges.

A triangular pyramid has 4 Faces.

The 3 Side Faces are Triangles.
The Base is also a Triangle. It has 4
Vertices.It has 6 Edges
Cylinder
base

Has two parallel congruent

Curved
Lateral circles at its bases and a
face
rectangular surface curved at
Can container
the body of it.
Cone
Has a circular base and a
curved surface with a vertex
over the center of the base.
Sphere
Has curved surface of points
that are all of the same
distance from the center
