THE PHILIPPINES
5 PROBLEMS

1.Agricultural Drone
2.Digital Addiction and Mental Health
3.Limited access to quality education in science and
technology, particularly in rural areas.
4. Combine Harvesters: The Modern Harvester
5. Gender equality in the Philippines
AGRICULTURE DRONE

 Drones can help farmers to save time and money. Drones

can automate tasks that would otherwise be done manually,
such as surveying fields and applying pesticides. This can
save farmers time and money.
 Drones can help farmers to improve safety. Drones can be
used to inspect crops and fields from a safe distance, which
can help to reduce the risk of accidents.
 Drones can help farmers to be more environmentally
friendly.
 Drones can be used to apply pesticides and fertilizers more
precisely, which can help to reduce the amount of chemicals
used.
DIGITAL ADDICTION AND MENTAL
HEALTH

 Digital addiction is a growing problem because digital devices are now

more affordable and accessible than ever before. This means that people
are more likely to be exposed to them on a regular basis. Additionally,
high-speed internet makes it possible to access digital content quickly and
easily, which can make it difficult to resist the temptation to use digital
devices.
 Digital addiction has a negative impact on mental health because it can
lead to symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and sleep problems. When
people are constantly using digital devices, they may neglect other
activities that are important for their mental health, such as spending time
with friends and family, exercising, or getting enough sleep. Additionally,
the constant stimulation from digital devices can wear down the brain's
reward system, making it difficult to feel happy or satisfied with other
activities.
 It is difficult to overcome digital addiction because it can be a very powerful
habit. Digital devices are designed to be addictive, and they offer a
constant stream of stimulation and rewards. Additionally, people who are
addicted to digital devices may have underlying mental health problems
that make it difficult to control their behavior.
LIMITED ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION IN
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, PARTICULARLY IN
RURAL AREAS

 A rural school may not have enough money to hire a qualified

science teacher. This could mean that the school has to hire a
teacher who is not certified in science, or that the school has
to combine science classes with other subjects.
 A rural school may not have the resources to purchase up-to-
date science textbooks and equipment. This could mean that
students are using textbooks that are outdated or that they do
not have access to the equipment they need to conduct
experiments.
 A rural school may not have a science lab. This could mean
that students have to travel to another school to take science
classes, or that they have to conduct science experiments in
the classroom.
 A rural school may not have a transportation program to help
students get to after-school science programs.
 This could mean that students who want to participate in
these programs have to find their own way to get there, which
can be difficult if they live in a remote area.
COMBINED HARVEST: THE MODERN
HARVESTER

 The first combine harvester was invented

in 1835 by Hiram Moore in the United
States. It was capable of reaping,
threshing, and winnowing cereal grain in a
single operation. Early versions were
pulled by horse, mule, or ox teams.
GENDER EQUALITY IN THE PHILIPPINES

 President Corazon Aquino: President

Aquino was a strong advocate for gender
equality. She appointed women to key
government positions, signed gender
equality legislation into law, and created
the Philippine Commission on Women
(PCW) to promote gender equality and
women's empowerment.
