What is consumer buying behaviour ?

• Behaviour that consumer display in searching


for,purchasing,using,evaluating of products and
services that consumers expect will satisfy their
needs.
Objectives

• To know and understand the brand preferences of mobile phone users.


• To study how the consumer makes final decision for buying the smartphone.
• To study how often consumers uses mobile phones and how they prefer buying them.
Research Methodology

• Data collection was done through primary and secondary source.


• Questionnaire in the form of Google survey is used.
• In this research convenient sampling is used.
• The non-probability sampling method is used.
• Sample size - 100+ questionnaires were filled
• No of questions- 12
• Demographic questions- 4

Questionnaire Parameters

• Consumer based survey was conducted in which 100+ people were asked to fill the
questionnaire.
• The population of Delhi was the main focus.
• The questions in the survey ranged from age,gender,profession,location,how often
someone purchase mobiles.
• The questionnaire was shared through digital medium of Google Forms.
Results
• Majority, 66% of the people that responded are between 18-25 age group.
• Majority, 58% of the respondents are male.
• The majority, 65% of the respondents are students.
• Majority, 56% of the respondents are from North Delhi,
• Majority, 50.5% of the respondents purchases mobile phones by researching on the
internet.
• Majority, 75% of the respondents upgrade mobile phone within 2-5 years.
• Majority, 51.5% of the respondents purchases through physical stores
• Majority,36% of prefers “APPLE” smartphones brand.

• Majority,63.4% of the respondents consider price while purchasing mobile phones.


• Majority,55% of the respondents are currently satisfied with their current mobile
phones.
• Majority,35% of the respondents consider a good camera in their mobile phones and
26.7% of them consider a good durability in their phones.
• Majority, 44% of the respondents somewhat considers sustainability and
environmental concerns when buying a mobile phone.
Future Scope

• In the future, it's super important for companies to understand why and how people
buy stuff on their phones. Since more and more folks are shopping on mobiles,
businesses should really get what customers like, make sure things are safe, and use
cool tech. Checking out social media, augmented reality, and personalized suggestions
can help businesses make shopping on phones even better for everyone
