Mains electricity

• Things that you plug in use mains electricity.


• Mains electricity is very powerful.
• It is made in power stations like this one.

Cell and battery
• A cell can store electricity .
• A cell called a battery when there is more than one cell put together.
• Cells are used for things that people carry like torches or mobile phones.

• There are many different types of cells
