SCHOOL YEAR 2024
Preface

We offer thanks to the presence of Allah SWT. Thank you for all His grace so that this task can
be completed well. In this journey, we will traverse the vast landscape of numbers, exploring
their properties, relationships, and applications across various disciplines. We will uncover the
beauty of prime numbers, the elegance of Fibonacci sequences, and the power of exponential
growth.

Moreover, we will examine different number systems, from the familiar decimal system to the
exotic realms of binary, octal, and hexadecimal. Each system offers unique insights into the
nature of numbers and challenges our perception of mathematical reality.

Furthermore, we will discuss operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and

division, which form the cornerstone of arithmetic and serve as the foundation for more
advanced mathematical concepts.

Our exploration of numbers is not merely theoretical; it is practical and relevant to everyday
life. Whether you're balancing your checkbook, designing computer algorithms, or analyzing
statistical data, a solid understanding of numbers is indispensable.

Real Number
A real number is a rational or irrational number, and is a
number which can be expressed using decimal expansion.
When people say "number", they usually mean "real
number". The official symbol for real numbers is a bold R
Rational Number

In mathematics, a rational number is a number that can be

expressed as the quotient or fraction of two integers, a numerator
p and a non-zero denominator q. For example, is a rational number,
as is every integer −5 = . The set of all rational numbers, also
referred to as "the rationals” , the field of rationals or the field of
rational numbers is usually denoted by boldface Q
Integres

An integers is the number zero (0), a positive natural number

(1,2,3, etc.) or a negative integer (-1,-2,-3, etc.). The negatie
numbers are the additive inverses of the corresponding positive
numbers. The set of all integers is often denotedby the boldface Z

So there are three types of integers

• Positive numbers
• Negative numbers
• Zero
