Social Justice and Human Rights

What is social justice?

Social justice is a type of justice rooted in the


idea that all people should have equal rights,
opportunity and treatment.
What is social injustice?

Social injustice is when actions are taken


that infringe upon a group’s rights,
marginalize their opportunities or treat them
unfairly.

Examples. Racism, discrimination, gender


inequality etc.

1.Whole sheet of paper

DIRECTIONS:

1. Watch the video about social justice.


2. Divide the class into groups. ( Teacher will
decide the number of groups)
3. Each group will copy and complete the
graphic organizer.
4. Ideas will be taken from the video lesson.
5. Groups will present the output before the
class.
