Introduction
• This study will discover the insight of grade 12 HUMSS
students of Eastern Laua-an National High School, Barangay
Maria, Laua-an, Antique regarding the Values Formation
Among Teenagers during Pandemic Time.

• This study was conducted on April 2022. The respondents of the


study were randomly selected Senior high school students in
Eastern Laua-an National High School. Respondents were
categorized as to sex. Data were gathered using the duly
validated researcher made questionnaire.

The conceptual framework of the study below shows the values formation of teenagers
during the pandemic time. Values formation among teenager us very important especially
during the pandemic time. Values formation varies from one person to another. It could
be influence by many factor such as sex. Oftentimes, female are value-oriented
individuals compared to males. However, these are also instances were male possesses
good values.
In this study, sex was considered as factor that can contribute to the values formation of
teenagers.

Sex refers to a set of biological attributes in humans and animals. It is primarily associated with physical and physiological features
including chromosomes, gene expression, hormone levels and function, and reproductive/sexual anatomy. (CIHR)

In this study, sex refers to the male and female SHS teenagers of ELNHS enrolled during the school year 2021-2022.

Methodology
• The study will use quantitative research design. In this study the researchers will use a questionnaire to gather
Research Design and Methods information from the respondents. In addition, the study will put emphasis on presenting the Values Formation among
Teenagers during Pandemic.

• To establish the validity of the research instruments, the researcher submitted the questionnaire-checklist to five jury members who have the

knowledge and expertise in the field of research. The evaluators were asked to give comments for each item in the questionnaire through checking

the option of the space provided in each item such as include improve or exclude. Items with the comment “improve “was rephrase or revised and

include on the bases of the suggestions or remarks given by the jury .

• The respondents of the study are the thirty (30) selected Senior High School students in Maria, Laua-an, Antique that

are studying in Eastern Laua-an National High School and who are officially enrolled for school year 2021-2022.

• This study will be conducted at Eastern Laua-an National High School, Maria, Laua-an, Antique, Municipality of Laua-an,

values formation. With an obtained overall score of 3.34 and 3.35 respectively. The
results shows that the male and female teenagers are exhibit good values.

Analysis
Differences on Values formation of teenagers as to Sex To determine the significant difference in the level of
Values formation as to sex, t-test was used. Alpha level of significant was set at 05. Sex. As shown in table 3,
the result show that there is no significant difference in the level of Values formation of teenagers as to sex
t(28) = -.791 P> .05, hence; the null hypothesis s accepted this
