In linguistics, an adjective is a word that generally modifies a noun or
noun phrase or describes its referent. Its semantic role is to change
information given by the noun.

Examples
 The food in the party is very scrumptious.

PROPER ADJECTIVES
English orthography sometimes uses the term proper
adjective to mean adjectives that take initial capital
letters, and common adjective to mean those that do not.

Examples
I love Thai people.
Tom is English.

Adjectives of Quality are words that tell us about the kind or
qualities of a person or thing being talked about.

I drank half of my juice.

The adjective of quantity is used with nouns
that are uncountable in nature.

Examples
I have many students.
There are few students in the class.

DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES
Demonstrative adjectives are special adjectives or determiners used to identify or
express the relative position of a noun in time or space. A demonstrative
adjective comes before all other adjectives in the noun phrase.

Examples
(This and These-used for objects that are near.)
 Those flowers are very sweet.
 These apples are completely ripened.
(That and Those-used for the objects that are far.)

ADJECTIVES
An interrogative adjective, also known as interrogative determiner,
is an adjective that modifies a noun by asking a question.

Examples
 What superpowers would you like?
 What car do you drive?

NUMERAL ADJECTIVES
A numeral adjective is an adjective that tells us about how many or
how much or in what order the noun is in.

 Every human being is selfish by nature.
 Some of them did not participate in the summit.

A distributive adjective is an adjective that refers to
members of a group individually.

Examples
 Each player has to play well.
 Each girl must bring her own bag.

POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES
A possessive or ktetic form is a word or grammatical construction used to indicate a
relationship of possession in a broad sense. This can include strict ownership, or a
number of other types of relation to a greater or lesser degree analogous to it.
