COIL

• A coil is an electrical component that consists of a conductor wound in a spiral, usually around
a core. The main purpose of a coil is to create a magnetic field when electric current is applied
to it.
SOME TYPES OF COILS.

• Stator Coils:
They are essential in creating a stationary magnetic field that interacts with the rotor to generate
rotary motion in the motor.
• Rotor Coils:
In DC motors, the rotor coils, along with the commutator, are crucial in reversing the direction of
the current and maintaining rotary motion. In induction motors, the rotor may contain shorted
coils.

• Starting Coils (in some cases):

The starting coil is connected in series with the main coil during engine starting and
automatically disconnects once the engine has reached operating speed. Its main function is to
provide additional starting torque to overcome initial inertia and ensure that the motor starts
rotating efficiently.
SIGNALING

• "Signalling" may refer to the use of electrical or electronic signals to transmit relevant
information about the status, operation or conditions of the engine.
• Luminous Indicators:
LED lights or indicator lights that indicate if the engine is on, running, or if there is an alert
condition.

• Acoustic Alarms:
Alarm devices that emit audible sounds to indicate emergency situations, fault conditions or
critical engine events.

• Temperature and Signaling Sensors:

Thermal sensors that monitor engine temperature and, if necessary, send warning signals or stop
the engine to prevent overheating.
RELAYS
• Interruptor Controlado:

• Protection and Isolation:
They offer electrical isolation between the control circuit and the controlled one, protecting
sensitive equipment and avoiding interference.

• Time Relays:
Designed to activate or deactivate after a specific period, useful in applications that require
temporal control.
• Controlled switch:
