Who is a teacher?

Teaching is partly difficult because classrooms are

complex. First, teachers are required to serve in several
roles. They need to serve as an advocate, observer,
instructor, evaluator, coach, activities director, supply
master, tech support and confidante. In their varied
roles, teachers make many decisions about varied or
different kinds of issues. They need to think about
student’s safety, their learning, and their other needs
simultaneously, all while they have to consider their own
personal and professional issues and needs.
